Bear Lake Day #3

Day #3 involved a LAZY morning with pancakes and sausage, lunch at Cooper's, swimming at the HOA, EPIC Croquet (spoiler: Ben won), movie night (Air Bud), and the adults playing Hot Dice- our favorite adult tradition.

I will never, never get tired of this amazing view!

After the movie, Camille burst into tears- tears of sadness that the trip was already coming to an end. There were many more tears! This simply was too short. We are thinking that next year we need to stay a few days longer. Even Ben agreed, which is basically a sign the Second Coming will be soon. But, the kids get along so incredibly well!!!! They just adore each other! And, it is so calm and peaceful! It's so hard to say good-bye for another year, but once again: We are so incredibly grateful for all the memories!

LeBeau's

Of course, we had to take our annual stop at LeBeau's! It was tasty, as usual.

And, our annual picture:

I even snuck one with Ben:

Claire took these pictures and I thought they were perfect:

And, the kids put on a lovely play for us about a stolen quilt- gasp!

I could not believe how well the kids got along! They just love each other so much, and it was so wonderful to have them get along so well. Just another wonderful blessing!

Bear Lake #2

Day #2 at the beach was super cold! So cold, in fact, we had to take breaks where we sat in the car to warm up. Finally, right as we were about ready to pack up, the sun came out and it got warm. Of course!

Nevertheless, the kids had a great time. Camille was a real trooper- she kept going all the day in- I was impressed.

Per usual, Ben commandeered the Explorer 300. He actually went to the beach one day as he and Mac went and played golf yesterday. One day at the beach was enough for him, though, and they had a great time playing golf, so it was a win-win.

Bear Lake #1

When I think about Bear Lake, one word comes to mind: Gratitude.

I am so grateful that we have an awesome extended family. I am grateful that I get along so well with Ben's family. I am grateful my girls have really incredible 1st and 2nd cousins who they love and adore. I am grateful we have the tradition of going to Bear Lake (this was our 7th year- wow!) to celebrate family. We are so, so, so blessed.

Great Day For A Wedding

A dear friend of mine from back in the singles days got remarried. It was such a beautiful place- Evergreen Lake. The wedding was wonderful, and made my heart so happy! They were both divorced- she for about 10 years, he for a few. Between the two of them, they have 5 kids. I am so incredibly happy for their families!!!

One of my best friends Brittney was my date!
