Claire's World

Claire's world now revolves around basketball. She attends a gym for 6 hours a week, then does TRHS fall leagues for another 4-6 hours a week. Our hope is that she will make the JV team. She has a good chance- she has improved 1000% over last season and has put in the work and time. Now we just need the coaches to notice. She has worked so hard! Fingers crossed it all pays off!

Russell M. Nelson's 100th Birthday!

Grandma Marriott told us her ward was hosting a ward Birthday party for President Nelson. I pitched the idea to our ward council, but it was too late of notice, so I decided to just organize a party for him and invite a bunch of friends.

I put together a Jeopardy game of his life, baked two cakes, reserved the Relief Society room, and sent lots of text messages inviting anyone who might want to come. We had about 30 people! It was awesome!

Unfortunately, due to Claire's basketball game and Audra driving downtown for the Colorado Honor Band, only Camille came from our family. Oh, well. It was still worth it.

CSU Band Day

Audra and I went up to CSU so she could march with their marching band. It was awesome! And such a great recruiting tool. Their marching band is really, really good! Audra had a great time.

We got to meet Cam the Ram!

We had to stop at Buc-ee's on the way home, but I have to admit- it's one and done for me. I don't need to go back. It felt like a Wal-Mart with gas.

Audra had her senior pictures tonight! I can't wait until we get the final pics! Here's some "behind the scenes" pictures I took:

First Day of School!

We all had our first day of school this week! It's an adjustment with Camille in middle school and me working full-time now, but it's all going to be great. It should be a great year!

It's Audra's last first day of K-12 school! I am trying to celebrate rather than be sad about all of it.
