It was finally time to put Audra and Claire into one bedroom. To answer your question- no, we do not think it will go well. They are sure excited about this, however. And Camille will need a crib relatively soon. At least for naps. So, we needed to put the older girls together sooner or later.
Today was the day.
Audra has been begging us for a week to move Claire's bed over. Apparently when you move beds over, you have to bring up every stuffed animal you have to celebrate:
Yes, we know bunk beds are in order. But, we're worried about what Claire will do with bunk beds (and how many bones she will try to break) so we are holding off for awhile.
After moving Claire's bed, her room was bare. Audra exclaimed, "CLAIRE! We have a RUN AROUND ROOM!"
Maybe sometime soon we'll get that crib set up.

...maybe they will surprise you.
The girls actually fell asleep just fine. But then they woke up super early and were running around the house yelling and screaming. We need to figure that one out...
You need one of those clocks that turns green when they are allowed to leave their room...or something like that. The novelty of all this will wear off for them at some point and you might actually find their evening chatter to be adorable. :) I am a huge advoccate of room-sharing. I think it makes young siblings have a much closer bond - even if it sometimes creates headaches for parents.
Actually, you should avoid bunkbrds until they are much older. I think the recommended age is something like 7. Good luck with the transition.
