Medieval Feast

We have been studying Medieval times. We studied it last year, and it's been fun to revisit it and go a little more in depth in our studies.

Tonight we had a Medieval feast. We ate soup out of bread bowls. I did allow the peasants to eat with metal spoons instead of wooden ones. We also ate by candlelight which was nice.

The girls made jester shoes out of felt- they turned out super cute as they jingled all over the house. They even put together a show for the Lord and Lady of the castle. It was a lot of fun.

Tonight made me grateful once again that we are homeschooling. What a crazy world we are living! We never would have envisioned our life being like this, but this is a great life!
