Sweet Sixteen!
It was a crazy Birthday because she performed at the Bobby G Awards (more on that in a different post), but we were able to celebrate her as best we could.
For both Camille and Audra I got up early and made a nice breakfast- regular French toast for Camille, stuffed French toast for Audra.
I had dinner ready (her choice- a ham/potato bake) at 4 PM. I got her a delicious tuxedo cake from Costco, and we did cake, dinner, and presents early so we could leave at 4:45 for downtown and her performance.
The Young Women came and decorated for her Birthday which she loved.
Audra at 16:
-I wish she wasn't as stressed and that she would relax and have fun a bit more as she is in a constant state of extreme stress. That is hard to watch.
-She still loves band more than anything else
-Purple is still her favorite color
-She is doing AWESOME at driving, even on a stick
-She impresses her teachers constantly with her writing abilities
-She works with Ben for hours almost every night on math. He is very patient and is great with her (and Claire, too), and Audra works really, really hard for her grades. We are super proud of her hard work
-She has stopped growing. 5' 2" is where she'll end up. She would be more OK with it if Claire didn't tease her about it constantly.
-She is still the sweetest, kindest person you will ever meet. To know her is to love her, and she is a blessing and a light to everyone she knows.
