We woke up bright and early for our snorkeling excursion (Ben and I LOVE snorkeling in the Caribbean!), but when we walked out our door the shore excursion was at our door with a note saying our excursion was canceled due to windy conditions. In fact, all the water excursions were cancelled!
I raced downstairs to the shore excursion desk. I was the first person in line, and it was a good thing. The excursions were almost completely booked- there were only 4 excursions with spots left, and only 1 with 5 spots- a walking tour of Nassau.
So, that's what we did. Then we went to a wonderful Greek lunch (that's what the girls wanted! I can't believe we ate Greek food in Nassau, but it was delicious), went through the pirate museum (Ben was in Heaven, and we learned a ton- it was awesome). It wasn't the day we expected, but it was a good day!
Plus, it was Ben's Birthday, so we got to celebrate how awesome he is and how lucky we are to have him in our lives!!! He's the best day and husband, and I'm grateful every day for the life we have built together. He's my favorite!
They had towel animals on all the deck chairs-it was so fun!
The girls decorated Ben's door which was a lot of fun!
The Love Swing
Government buildings in the Bahamas are pink. It was so fun to see all the colorful buildings!
These trees are very famous in Nassau

Theses are The Queen's Stairs- referring to Queen Victoria who emancipated all slaves in the British colonies. It was enslaved people who carved out and built the stairs, and they named them after her
