We were second at the gates, but we purposely chose to stand behind a family who we met yesterday and who booked it, so we knew they would be fast. They were ropedropping Rise, we were headed to Peter Pan. We were at the very front of the rope, and Ben was AMAZING and raced/ran/speedwalked to PP and he was the FIRST. I was just behind him, but there was a group of 2 between us so we let them go first. So he was first, but we got on second. Still, it was the best! It meant we could then go do several other rides with no lines. In fact, the whole two days we waited in pretty much no lines. The longest we waited, by far, was Radiator Springs Racers where we waited for 40 minutes, but part of that was that it broke down while we were in line for a few minutes.
Ben also was amazing later as we were standing outside Indiana Jones and he saw the time go from 50 to 40 minutes so we quickly jumped in line, and it turns out it had broken down and they had everyone leave the queue and they were just opening it up again, so we walked on to Indiana Jones! That was magic.
Overall, I'd say we won the two days.
Camille loves making Tiger Tails, so we had to buy one at Bengal Barbeque. Admittedly, Camille's are better.
Mickey and Minnie's Runaway Railroad- can you see us in the picture? Our train car is dancing.
We paid for Rise. Maybe we didn't need to, but it was worth it for us to not have to wait in the line which kept fluctuating all day.
We did single rider on Matterhorn twice, and that was enough for us. That ride is very jerky and our backs weren't too thrilled the second time.
Big Thunder- another favorite!
Toon Town is so brilliant! You really do feel like you walk into a cartoon. We loved it!
And thus ended our quick trip. Well, we did go to a new restaurant over at the Garden Walk called Huckleberry for breakfast. It was really good!
We flew in and out of Long Beach which was lovely. It's a nice, small airport.
