For day 2, we had another day at the beach. Yesterday we lasted until 5 PM, which is the latest we have ever stayed at the beach. Today we stayed until about 3:30. It wasn't super hot, and was almost chilly at times, but I think because it wasn't so hot we didn't get too exhausted, and I think that helped us stay longer. The kids were really having the absolute best time- it was really, really hard to leave.
Ben didn't go the second day- instead he and his dad went golfing, which is a fun new tradition of theirs. Ben isn't a fan of the beach, but being able to go golfing with his dad means a lot to him and he really enjoys that tradition he and his dad are starting.
There was a lot of fun burying children:
I accidentally bought a ton of zinc sunscreen that doesn't rub in well, so M begged to be turned into a ghost- it was pretty funny.
Some adult pictures- too bad so many men didn't come today:
Greg and Jeremy were the male representation today:
We tried out a new pizza place. I really enjoyed the pizza.
But, for years Ben and I have wanted to try a crepe restaurant in town. We decided to take our little family and go- and we are so glad we did! Audra and I shared the raspberry, Ben got the lemon, and Claire and Camille shared a nutella/strawberry. They were delicious, and the ambiance of this restaurant, which felt like a garden, was absolutely delightful. So, a new tradition has been born! We will definitely be going back.
