SUSIE!

I met Susie in college. She is one of the most positive, kind, energetic, like-minded friend I know. It has been about 10 years since we have seen each other, but I'm so glad we made the time to get together and spend the day together.

We met at the Seattle Aquarium. Then we went to Ivar's for lunch, then to "Wings Over Washington"- a Soarin' type of ride where we go over all of Washington. I was impressed- it was really neat.

With Susie's kids, Maggie and James. All the kids got along great!

This picture was supposed to be really cool. Alas, the lighting...

Then, since we were literally parked just underneath the market, I took the girls up to experience Pike's Place. We bought some corn- it was the most delicious corn I have ever eaten in my life.

It was fun being tourists with Susie! This was our only big "tourist" day, but I think every trip we need to pencil in a couple of these types of days. I mean, Seattle really is incredible with so much to see and do!
