Audra Goes To Trek

Audra was so excited to finally go to trek, after months of preparing. She was super nervous about her family and had no idea what to expect. She made a skirt, Claire made an apron for her, and finally the time for her go came.

It was weird not having her home for a few days, but she had a WONDERFUL time. She played The Spirit of God on her trumpet for a musical fireside, and I have been told that the cheers were very, very loud as the crowd loved her!

Here she is ready to go into the church after saying good-bye to us. Sob.

Here she is after trek with her Ma, Sister Jenny Tenney. Jenny is in our ward and is the absolute best. What a blessing to have her as Audra's Ma!

There was a huge problem with busses- only 3 of the scheduled 7 ended up coming. It was a disaster, but somehow the leaders figured out the logistics for the adults to all drive their own cars. But outside of that, everything else seems to have gone well.

Audra said it was a very spiritual experience and her testimony really grew. The weather was perfect, she LOVED her family, and she really just had a fabulous time.

We were glad when she got home, but thrilled she got to have such a wonderful experience.

Just for kicks, here's some pictures of when I sent to trek my senior year:
