We started the morning off by taking the bus over by Wall Street and got a picture with the famous bull, then headed on a bus tour of Brooklyn.
Then we went to the 9/11 Memorial. That was special- I'm glad we went and saw it. I think they did a beautiful job with the memorial.
This is a statue that was recovered after the towers fell.
From there, the afternoon turned into a bust. Our plans fizzled out and the bus wasn't helping us get to where we needed to go, so we ended up at this ship and toured it. It was cool, and ended up being fine after a rough afternoon.
The sunset was incredible!
Then we went to Junior's Bakery because on the Brooklyn tour it said this is the most famous cheesecake in the world, so we had to give it a try.
It was a good cheesecake. It has a sponge cake instead of graham cracker crust. I must admit, I think I prefer graham cracker crusts.
