New York City

 Finally, the day came- New York City!!!

We got to the airport bright and early, and had an easy flight to NYC.

The kids (Audra, her BF Austin, and friend Katherine) ended up waiting at the airport for about 5 hours until they could finally get their shuttle to the hotel.

I shared a hotel room with Katherine's mom, Teri. But she went off with a friend in NYC for Saturday so I had the afternoon in Manhattan all to myself. I wasn't complaining- I mean, it's NYC!

 

I stopped at the NY Public Library to see the original Winnie the Pooh and friends again:

I went to the pizza place right across from the Empire State Building. I remember it being really good and Claire makes fun of me because she thought it was gross. So I needed to prove her wrong. I failed. The pizza was not good.

Outside our hotel- everything in the whole city was decked out for Christmas and so beautiful and festive:
