A few weeks ago we went to bed with an invite on our pillow. It was written in yellow and very difficult to read or else I would share a picture, but he gist is this:
"On August 10th at 5 PM we will have a play at our house. Dinner will be a pot luck. You are in charge of main dish. Bring your own chair. Please, please, please, please, please come!"
They handed out invitations, with food assignments, to grandma and grandpas, aunts, uncles- anybody they could think of to invite. It was fabulous!
We came for the play and they had programs for everyone:
It was a pretty cute play! They wrote it themselves, came up with costumes- absolutely everything! I LOVE LOVE LOVE that they did this all 100% on their own! We told them they need to start working on their Christmas play.
Bonus: Ben didn't even freak out when Claire started rolling around on the garage floor!
