The girls were upset that it was friends instead of Dad going with us. They really want to do "Family hikes." Admittedly, we have been gone A LOT this summer, and dad works a lot, so we have not done very many family hikes. We will need to change that come fall when dad has his Fridays off.
Anyway, the weather was perfect today- cool, with even a few raindrops, while we walked about 4 miles, and then warm and sunny when the kids got into the creek.
