Halloween!

Halloween was mostly low-key this year. Camille and Claire went out with friends- Camille and her friends dressed as candy which was super cute.

They came and watched Trailblazer's Parade which was really funny for me! I was happy to see Camille!

I dressed up with the Specials team as Ghostbusters! I don't really get into Halloween, but it's fun to dress up with my co-workers, and the kids love it so it's worth it.

Claire was dressed as a ghost with her friends and it didn't end well. They couldn't see anything. But, she did win this HUGE vase full of candy from the Willy Wonka House by correctly guessing how many pieces of candy were in there

We only had about 15 or 20 trick-or-treaters at our house. Definitely one of our smaller nights. I think all the kids go over to the "rich" houses. But, I noticed Claire and Camille came home with very little variety to their candy- it's like they all go to Costco and buy the same multi-packs of candy. I think going to us "poor" streets has the way better candy!!

Fall Festival

Our ward put on the BEST fall festival! Instead of our annual Trunk or Treat, we switched to the fall festival, and it was a million times better! It was so much fun! Tons of booths with games, food, hayrides, dance hall, fire pits- it's just too much to explain. It was so good!

And, a photo booth! Too bad the other girls left before we get their picture!

And also, our front tree is really showing off:

First Senior Night

It was senior night for marching band. Audra was sobbing! I actually held it together. At halftime, POMS, cheer, and the rest of the marching band made a tunnel and we walked down while they talked about how awesome Audra is.

It's hard to believe TRHS marching is over, but now we look forward to better opportunities in the future!

Day 4: Disneyland

Our final day we spent at Disneyland. Audra and I hopped over to CA so we could ride Grizzly River Run, one of my favorite rides. But otherwise we rode our favorite hits at DL.

Grizzly River Run

We also splurged on a Blue Bayou dining package so we could get preferred seating at Fantasmic. This was one of Ben's dreams since he was a child. I mean, who hasn't floated by Blue Bayou while on Pirate's and wanted to eat at the restaurant? The atmosphere was incredible. The food....not so much. Ben liked it, but I found it less than stellar, especially for the price. And yet, the seats for Fantasmic were perfect so I would do it again just for that.

The Monte Cristo was basically extremely thick fried bread. Claire's Monte Cristo is much better

As we were walking around, we saw Jack Skellington, AND John Legend! John Legend was filming the Christmas show! Such an awesome thing to witness, even though they wouldn't let us stop at all, we had to rush past
Can you see the snow and wreath on the castle?

Ben needing a little break. Roger Rabbit was down, so we sat and rested until it started going again, so we got to ride it with no line. It was perfect!

Claire lost her yellow shirt, so she sticks out a little bit...

Ben finally got a churro!

Fantasmic was incredible! Such an incredible show. I'm glad we got the dinner package- there were SO MANY people! But our seats were basically front row, and we got to sit which was awesome after a long day. I wanted to stay until midnight, but nobody would stay with me. We were all really tired, so it's good we headed back to the hotel.
