10 Months

Camille is now 10 months old! She proved quite elusive for the 10 month pictures, even with my sister's help, so we will just have to make do.

Here are some 10 month milestones:

-New foods: Toasted bagel, spinach (this seems to give her gas), chia seeds, grated cheese

-Words: She still says "mama" a lot. Ben is pretty sure Camille calls him "mama" too, so maybe she just associates "mama" with anybody she loves. I swear she also said, "Aud-wa", but maybe I imagined it.

-Mobility: She is cruising a few steps here and there. She definitely still loves to stand and get into everything. She has an uncanny sixth sense ability to know exactly when the dishwasher opens, and the capacity to race to the dishwasher in .06 nanoseconds. She no longer tries to climb down stairs- she learned that she usually gets hurt when she does.

-Sleeping: She is now completely sleeping through the night. She takes two naps a day, and will still only sleep in her crib. She only naps for an hour or two.

-Other cuteness: She started shrugging her shoulders- and it is the cutest thing in the whole world! She also LOVES to dance- as soon as music comes on, she starts to boogy!

-She also had her first visit to the ER, as posted earlier. She was fine after that for about a week, but then came down with a cold again- poor girl. But even with a stuffy nose she still has a cheery disposition and is just plain awesome.

Just the other day I thought, "This girl really is the cutest thing. I am sure the other girls were really cute, but Camille is REALLY cute!" I sure do love this girl!

Fun With Cousins

 My mom, sister, and nieces are in town this weekend. The house got a lot louder and a lot more fun! There are now 6 girls under the age of 12, and they are all loving it!

Audra's Books

Audra has gotten really into making books. We go through about a tree a day with all the paper she uses to make her books!

One of her first books/projects was taking an old photo album and drawing pictures of her life to go in it. It's pretty awesome! She loves sitting down and telling us what she's doing as a baby in all the pictures.

I love her creativity! And her sweet pictures! She's definitely growing up fast- I'm going to miss this age with her.

Can't Get Enough!

 The other day I was thinking: This girl is SO DANG CUTE! I really just can't get enough of her- she's SO CUTE!

Audra's Boyfriend

I had to write this down before I forget. Audra and I had what I had hoped would be a good discussion on morals and values. It took an unexpected turn, however, leaving me speechless:

Me: Audra, you can have friends that are boys, but you can't have a boyfriend until you are 16.

A: Why?

Me: That's a rule.

A: Well, it's too late. I already have a boyfriend.

Me: (aghast) Who? And what do you mean you have a boyfriend?

A: Isaac. And I like him and he likes me, so...

Me: (speechless)

What's my next step, moms?

A Super Sweet Valentine

We had one of Audra's absolute best friends, Chole, over today. She brought a valentine she had made for Audra. In her kindie class they were asked to make a valentine for somebody special- she chose Audra. It's SO SWEET!!!!

Here's what it says:

"Dear Audra,
I love you. You area the best friend in the entire world. You will always be (?). From, Chloe."

I just about cried when Chloe read it to Audra- kids can be so incredibly sweet!
