Christmas Party

Our ward just put on the best Christmas party! Truly, it was incredible.

They had the Littleton Ballet come and perform 4 dances. The young women did a bell performance. They had a ward orchestra, in which Audra played her trumpet and two of our friends, not members of our faith but dear friends of ours, played violin. The primary kids sang "Picture A Christmas" while holding tea lights, and then they had a manger scene, where Audra was Mary, and did a reading of the Christmas story from the Bible. Oh, and a delicious ham dinner. And Santa. I was a little worried about how they would combine Santa and The Nativity, but they did it.

Audra was SOOOOOOOOOOOO incredibly embarrassed to be Mary because she hated being engaged to Kellan. She got teased a tiny bit. When we got in the car to go home, I may have teased her a little bit about it as well. Isn't that what a mother is for?
