Camille's Baptism

What a special day! Camille was baptized! I can't believe this is our last child to get baptized!

It was a bit different. We could only have 10 people, including the bishopric member. So, it was just us and Grandma and Grandpa Marriott. Then, we Zoomed it across the country. Camille was very happy to have Freya, her cousin in Virginia, give the opening prayer. Freya was very nervous to do it and wrote her prayer out so she could read it. It was the cutest thing!

We were told we had a total of 30 minutes. But, it seems a lot of people are waiting to do their baptisms until after the pandemic is over But, since it could be many more months until things get back to some semblance of normal, we decided not to wait. It was actually pretty cool to do it over Zoom- something very different that we will remember forever as being super special.

She wore the same dress that I wore when I got baptized, and that both Audra and Claire wore when they got baptized as well.

There were some glitches with Zoom, but we finally got it to work, and for the most part it was OK.

After the baptism, we got WichWhich and went to a park with the Damstedt's and grandma and grandpa. Unfortunately, the wind was horrid. We ended up going back to grandma and grandpa's for ice-cream.
