The joy of having a summer Birthday is that Claire never knows where she will be for her Birthday ;) This year, she will be at FSY with Makenna and Aubrey, so we celebrated early with her cousins, and it was awesome. If we were at home, she likely would have sat at home sulking that all her friends are busy and out of town, but instead she got to enjoy it with a ton of family and lots of laughs!
She got to choose dinner- chicken salad sandwiches, and we got a delicious chocolate cake from Costco. It was perfect!
Here's a snapshot of Claire at (almost) 15:
-She still hates rice. And now she doesn't like tacos
-She is incredibly social. This is new for us- she was always such an introvert when we were homeschooling, but now she's Ms. Popular. I can't keep up with all the names of her friends
-She's boy crazy, but not on one boy- on all the boys. Except the ones that like her. If they like her, she immediately stops liking them
-She has a 4.0 at school and is very responsible with her schoolwork- she gets things done well in advance so she isn't stressed out the night before a big project or test
-She loves nice clothes. In particular Converse shoes.
-She is hilarious- she has us all busting up laughing at the dinner table on a consistent basis
-When she has a will, she has a way- she can literally accomplish anything that she puts her mind to!
-She is still obsessed with The Hunger Games
-She is very hot/cold- either she loves things, or she hates things
-She is very excited to start driving, she is insistent that she will be a better driver than Audra
-She reads non stop. Like, truly- she always has multiple books on her eReader
-She knows every song on the radio and then some. Taylor Swift and Olivia Rodrigio are her current favorites, with Ed Sheeran right behind
-Her favorite food is probably still pulled pork sandwiches. And she wants chocolate, chocolate, chocolate.
