I feel bad rooting against BYU (Go West Virginia!), but really I'm rooting for Audra. She is with the pep band in Kansas City playing her heart out to cheer on the Cougs, but that means she is NOT at school. Missing classes, lectures, study sessions...and, with the NCAA Tournament looming next week, she could miss three weeks of school unless BYU starts losing.
To add insult to injury, this is right after she was awarded an academic scholarship for her perfect grades so far. So playing in the pep band could quite literally cost us thousands of dollars.
Sigh.
